The Abstract Wikipedia team is a part of the Wikimedia Product department. Our aim is to let more people share more knowledge in more languages. We are building a new type of wiki where community-written software functions can transform language-independent Wikidata structured data into Wikipedia-like prose articles.

Currently most of the team's engineering work is in creating the Extension:WikiLambda and the function executor service.
