Description Manages a hierarchy of pages with hierarchy links stored external to the pages themselves. Provides form renderers the ability to build a hierarchy of pages in a given category as well as to allow selection of individual pages from a hierarchy.

The HierarchyBuilder extension introduces a tag, <hierarchy>, two Semantic Form input types, hierarchySelect and hierarchy, and three parser functions #hierarchyChildren, #hierarchyParent, #hierarchySectionNumber.

Installation

This extension requires Semantic MediaWiki to be installed first.
  • Download and place the file(s) in a directory called HierarchyBuilder in your extensions/ folder.
  • Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php file: 
    wfLoadExtension( 'HierarchyBuilder' );
  • Yes Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
