The TemplateWizard extension adds a popup dialog box for adding template code to wikitext. End-user help for this extension is located at Help:Extension:TemplateWizard
.Installation
- First install Extension:TemplateData and Extension:WikiEditor .
- Download and place the file(s) in a directory called
TemplateWizard
in yourextensions/
folder. - Add the following code at the bottom of your LocalSettings.php
wfLoadExtension( 'TemplateWizard' );
file: Done – Navigate to Special:Version on your wiki to verify that the extension is successfully installed.
Installation and usage note
TemplateWizard provides a visual dialog that helps editors insert templates in a guided manner. In order to do that, it uses the TemplateData
information that is provided within the template. Please make sure your templates contain the TemplateData definition. For more information on how to add TemplateData to your templates, please see this guide.See also
