- Tamia de Sibérie (Tamias sibiricus) aux 5 rayures brunes bien marquées et de largeur égale.
- Le Tamia mineur (Tamias minimus) a aussi sur le dos 5 rayures brunes, mais il est beaucoup plus petit que le Tamia de Sibérie.
- Tamia rayé (Tamias striatus), vu du dessus : on peut distinguer les rayures dorsales, dont celles du centre sont grises et plus larges, chez cette espèce très proche mais plus grande que le Tamia de Sibérie.
