• After many years of work, the media player of all Wikimedia wikis has been modernized and now uses Video.js. You can read more about the change in this Diff blogpost.
• Abstract Schema milestone: all WMF Deployed Extensions have now been migrated to abstract schema!
• More than 1,000,000 comments have been posted on wiki with the Reply tool.

• The new Wikimedia Developer Portal has launched! Find technical documentation, and connect with the developer community behind Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects.
• The Wikimania 2022 Hackathon is a free, online event open where anyone interested in Wikimedia technology can work together on projects, learn new skills, and meet other technical contributors.
