Maps refers mostly to two major extensions allowing to add maps to wiki pages:
- Maps extension, the most popular mapping extension used on various non-Wikimedia wikis
- Maps extension help – user help documentation
- Kartographer extension, which is used by Wikimedia, and uses Wikimedia's Maps service
- Kartographer extension help – user help documentation
Starting August 2021 third-party wikis may no longer use use Wikimedia's Maps service.
Maps project may refer to:
- Wikimedia Maps – where developments relating to Wikimedia maps are announced and discussed after July of 2018
- Map improvements 2018 – improvement project that lasted from March 2018 until the end of June 2018
- Maps project (2015-2017) – initial creation and development of the Kartographer extension and related cartographical technologies
