Creating a Friendly Space
The Universal Code of Conduct, Code of Conduct for Wikimedia's Technical Spaces and Friendly Space Policy will be in effect throughout the event, on all platforms, discussion channels, and at satellite events.

Hackathon team building
The Wikimedia Hackathon 2023 is organized by the Technical Engagement team of the Wikimedia Foundation. We are working together with two partners:
- Department of Informatics, Ionian University, Corfu, Greece - Networks, Multimedia and Security Systems Laboratory (NMSLab);
- The local Wikimedia affiliate, the Wikimedia Community User Group Greece.
The coordination team is composed of:
- LÊa Lacroix (@Auregann on Telegram) - coordination, logistics, communication, scholarships
- Srishti Sethi (@srishakatux on Telegram) - program design, communication, volunteer coordination
- Karen Hernandez - logistics, venue, accommodation
- Deb Tankersley - coordination, logistics
- Emily Berman, Erin Morris and Nikki Maller - help desk, travel and accommodation for WMF scholars and staff
- Marios Magioladitis - volunteer coordination
